SCM3000 Software for Static Materials Testing
MICROTEST Universal Testing Machines (UTMs) are operated by the SCM3000 testing software, that enhances the features and capabilities of these machines for conducting static and low frequency cyclic testing on a wide variety of materials and components in automatic and manual control modes.
The SMC3000 software is a Windows based, easy-to-use, flexible and powerful modular testing software with advanced control and safety features, fully configurable graphical user interface composed of multiple live data displays (up to 12) and live plotting, zooming and exporting for the test data/measured values/test results/calculations (load, crosshead displacement, extension, test speed, stress, strain, etc.).
The SCM3000 materials testing software includes a complete selection of standard-compliant (ASTM, ISO etc.) test methods to perform static (tensile, compression, flexural/bend, friction, shear, peel, adhesion etc.) and low frequency cyclic tests on metals, plastics, polymers, composites, textiles, geosynthetics, building materials among others over a range of temperatures.
The SCM3000 is the software designed by MICROTEST for control, measurement and data acquisition in static tests. This software has been though to fulfill almost every customer need in standard tests or to adapt the testing machine control in order to perform special applications.
The system allows the user to work in manual mode, similar to a simple classic control in testing machines, or in automatic mode, running predefined test methods in an automatic way. The automatic control mode gives an extraordinary flexibility, making possible complex operations, minimizes the possibility of committing mistakes during the test and also makes easier the routine operations.
SCM3000 software includes various sub-set modules allowing the possibility of custom-made test sequences as well as tailored configuration for every MICROTEST testing system: load capacity, number and type of sensors, resolution, units, etc.
